At the cookout, you’ll sing along with Alvie Self, a member of both the Western Swing and the Rockabilly Hall of Fame, and his acoustic guitar and fiddle. He’ll sing you some cowboy songs and play your requests. Alvie has been playing and singing at the evening cookouts for more than 10 years, and people love him.

You’ll spend a total of about 3 hours for the ride and Cookout, enjoying delicious food in a casual atmosphere with room for your kids to roam. Evening cookouts are held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

The menu features mesquite grilled steak, cut and bought locally the day it is served, with cowboy beans, corn on the cob, grilled peppers, salad, and peach cobbler, all accompanied by iced tea, lemonade and water (You are welcome to BYOB). You can request salmon or a veggie burger instead of steak, and please do discuss any food allergies or dietary needs when you make your reservation.

250 pound weight limit for riders; Kids must be 7 years old or older to ride.

Due to increased volume in the summer months, please call 800.284.9240 to check availability.

HORSEBACK RIDES HAVE BEEN CANCELLED FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST DUE TO THE EXTREME HEAT AND EXPECTED STORMS.  Rides will resume in September.
